1. Declared methodology for every tool
We do not show a result without explaining its basis. Each tool has a “How the result is calculated” section stating the standard used (such as RFC 7208 for SPF, RFC 6376 for DKIM and RFC 7489 for DMARC) or the mathematical formula (such as the two-proportion z-test and the Wilson interval), plus a “Limits” section explaining what it does not do and what is an estimate.
2. How we test
- Permanent automated tests: each tool has a test suite covering normal and edge cases (Arabic text, emoji, extreme values, wrong inputs) that runs before any change is published.
- Independent references: where possible we compare our results with sources outside the tool: live DNS queries, tools such as
opensslfor key lengths, statistics computed in Python, and ZIP files opened with independent software. - Mutation testing: we inject deliberate faults into a tool's logic to verify the tests actually catch them.
- Periodic reviews: every batch of new tools is reviewed and its outcome recorded internally with scores and a list of what was not tested.
3. Honesty about limits
We distinguish measurement from estimate, and state what we did not test or cannot measure (for example that a well-formed address does not mean the mailbox exists, or that open rate is inflated by privacy protection). We do not claim to predict marketing outcomes that cannot be predicted.
4. Corrections
If you report a wrong result we check it against a reference or standard; if confirmed we fix it, add a test to prevent regression and update the methodology if needed. Send reports to admin@axvoid.com.
5. Independence from advertising
Ads do not influence tool results, their order or the content of the guides. We do not accept payment to change a result or recommendation. If we mention an external product it is because it serves the reader.
6. Privacy by design
We prefer local processing in the browser; when an external service is needed (such as public DNS) we state it before running and in the Privacy Policy.
7. Written content
The guides explain the concepts the tools rely on with verifiable information, and are revisited when practices change (such as Gmail's and Yahoo's bulk-sender requirements). Each guide links to one or more tools on the site for practical application.
